Ethically sourced felt fashion inspired by nature.

The bombyxMORI felting studio and workshop is located in a beautiful woodland area, along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic West. This scenic location is filled with natural scenery and wildlife, providing the perfect muse to inspire the distinctive artwork that bombyxMORI offers. Music is also a great source of creativity for Astrid. The sounds, rhythm and lyrics stimulate her artistic expression.

When inspiration strikes, Astrid typically sketches out her vision. She then uses a mix of felting and free hand embroidery to create vivid clothing pieces that bring her visions to life.

bombyxMORI’s felt fashion is created from ethically sourced loose wool fibre that is sometimes combined with other fabrics such as silk, organic cotton, or linen. These special pieces explore patterns, vibrant coloured and other mixed media elements.

Award winning felt fashion that ships worldwide

The vibrant assortment of felt clothing ships to Ireland, the UK, Europe, the United States and indeed across the world. Some pieces can be ordered directly from our online store.
