Astrid is a freelance felt artist that specialises in colour harmonies and extraordinary surface design, which makes bombyxMORI so special. She has studied textile design and felting under renowned textile artists in Ireland and Germany. Astrid is also a member of the Feltmakers of Ireland, the International Feltmakers Association, the Inspirational Felt Group ‘Perfect 10’ and the Design Craft Council of Ireland. Her felt wall art design and felt art commissions have been exhibited across the globe.
